Part 28

I want to apologize for the delay with the updates, my real life is quite interesting at the moment <devilish wink> I'm not telling but maybe soon you'll have someone to blame for it. <blush> In the meantime thanks for your patience.

I wanted to post this update before leaving for Bardcon and I did it!  I'm so proud of myself <G> Hopefully this vacation will be better than last year <shakes head> what a waste of time.

Florida Here comes trouble!!! LOL

Everything was packed and ready for the move to Miami, the four friends were exhausted " I swear this is the last time I'm going to move. I'm sleeping all the way to Miami no matter what." Issa sighed as she closed the last box of kitchen items. She sat on the floor next to her lover.

" I can't believe we're moving away from home, tomorrow we'll be living not only in another place but in a different state too." Marie was starting to feel nostalgic. " As much as I like Miami I can't deny this is home; I'm going to miss it." She said sadly.

" Aww honey don't worry, we'll be back so soon you won't even notice. Our roots are here there is no way we can stay away for long." Jean said excitedly.

" Let's hope Steph find us a nice place to live; with the things she had been through lately I'm kind of worried." Rick commented.

" Nah! Steph is not alone there; she'll have Bev and Samm's support. I know she'll do alright." Issa said. " I bet she's having a great time already." She added.

The curly haired manager was indeed having a nice time getting to know Lil, the owner and bartender of "Neighbors" They started talking the night before and Steph didn't waste any time to ask her out for a cup of coffee. Steph found the blonde woman very interesting and wanted to spend more time with her. Now they were at the local Starbuck's enjoying each other's company.

"So, tell me Steph; what you do in your off time?" Lil asked intrigued.

" Well, is not like I have much of that but I like to swim or stay at home and watch some movies. " Steph said. " I treasure my off time a lot because is not a very common occurrence." She added with a smile.

" I can imagine how hard that can be." Lil said. " I don't have the easiest job either but when I don't want to go to work I can fix it with a phone call."

" Yeah, that's one of the benefits of being the boss." Steph joked. " I'm surprised I have all this free time right now and is only because Kristen is on vacation. I feel weird not having to do a thing."

" Guess I better make the best of it before you start working nonstop again." Lil wiggled her eyebrows.

Steph couldn't help but laugh. " Ah that sounds promising. I like the way you think."

" What do you say if we go for a swim later today?" Lil suggested.

" Again I'll say I like the way you think. Let's finish our coffee and we'll get ready for a swim, I need to stop by my room to get my bathing suit." Steph was really excited. Lil wanted to spend more time with her and who was she to deny her?

" I don't think you'll need to worry about that, but let's finish here and I'll explain my idea later." Lil said flirtingly

" Uh Oh! " was all Steph could say.

Kristen was awake but not ready to give up her comfy position yet. She heard the taller woman leave the villa earlier and decided to indulge herself with some fantasies.
Mmmm Rosie, I never thought we'd be this close. She thought with a devilish smile as her hand wandered down her body.

Images of a certain accountant invaded her mind as she started to touch herself. Ohhh Jenn you're driving me crazy. Kristen felt the wetness slip through her fingers. She was amazed at how wet she was just from thinking about the dark haired woman.

The blonde loved to tease herself before reaching an orgasm but she was afraid of the tall accountant sudden return; she decided to make it quick.

As Kristen went over the edge, Tito entered the villa after some difficulties he got in.
"Ok little girl let's see how tough you really are." He chuckled, as he started moving around the villa.

Kris was still in bed recovering from her climax when she heard some foreign noises outside. In all her years of martial arts training she'd learned to listen around and recognize the slightest noise, footsteps were easy to decipher. She could easily know how tall and how much the person weighted just from listening to their footsteps. This time it was hard to guess. It was evident the person was trying not to make any noise.

Ok O'Rourke think; is not Jenn that's for sure. Better get ready in case things get ugly. Kristen thought stepping out of bed as quietly as possible. In her mind ran different possible scenarios, none of them very promising.

Maybe the lifeguard is back for another ass kicking. Fuck!! I really don't want to hurt my hand again. I swear I'll use my legs this time. The blonde author was more annoyed than afraid about the intrusion. She had plenty experience and a self-confidence that was the envy of her training partners.

Tito was inside Jenn's bedroom. He scanned the unmade bed. Uh Oh this is wrong they aren't sleeping together, Christopher is not going to believe me. I'm sure blondie is sleeping on the next room. The dark hit man was annoyed. I was so looking forward to Jenn having a thing for the little spitfire. Let's see where my playmate is. He chuckled on his way back to the living room.

Kris jumped off bed and grabbed a pair of sweats as her mind was still trying to figure out the reason of the break-in. In the worst case scenario could be a paparazzi trying to make a name out of fucking up my life. All he's gonna get is a good butt kicking.

The blonde author was listening intently trying to locate the intruder's position inside the villa. She went through the bathroom to try to see her opponent. Tito was in the kitchen and Kristen could get a glimpse of him as he passed the bathroom door to the dinning room.

Uh oh big guy, big guy…this one is going to be a toughie. She thought as she went to the bedroom again to put her boots on.

Jenn walked out of the water feeling refreshed. A morning swim always relaxed her and of course made her hungry. She started gathering her belongings when she noticed a very bruised lifeguard walking down the beach. Once he noticed her, he took off running. Jenn intrigued for his sudden departure went after him.

The tall accountant was amazed at how scared the lifeguard looked, she ran after him until both of them fell on the sand. "Hey! Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you." She yelled as they rolled around. Jose was trying to get away but the dark haired woman proved to be a solid opponent, in the end he gave up.

"ok, ok just let me go. I'm too young to die." He said.

"What in the world are you talking about? I'm not going to kill you." Jenn was taken aback by this comment.

"Maybe not you but the guy you sent after me yesterday looked like he wasn't one for games." José said as he brushed away the sand from his hair.

"What guy? I never sent anyone after you. I told you before we're here on vacation and all we wanted was to be left alone." Jenn felt like something bad was about to happen.

" That guy last night followed me after I left your villa. He placed a gun inside my mouth and said if I ever come close to you again he will kill me. It was scary." José was shivering just from the memory.

"I know you might not believe me but I swear we didn't sent any guy to follow you. Can you tell me how he looked like?" Jenn was getting anxious something wasn't right.

"He was tall, dark and scary. I know that's a lame description but he moved so fast I didn't have the chance to get a good look of him. Something that got my attention was his accent; he had a deep low voice with a strange accent." José saw the frightened look on Jenn's face. "You know him right?"

Jenn sighed, "I have an idea of who that might be. I'm sorry. I have to go. Something tells me I shouldn't had left Kris alone." The taller woman started running back to the villa, her belongings long forgotten at the beach.

The young lifeguard felt sorry for her, he knew how scary that guy was. The least he could do was save Jenn's belongings in case she came back looking for them later.
"If she survives… What a waste of time." José thought defeated.

Kris had her boots on and her body was in war-mode as she used to call it. She was aware of every movement inside the villa and was waiting for the best moment to attack her enemy. In every battle the one that hits first, hits two times. She repeated like a mantra on her mind.

Tito was looking for something that could give him an idea of what relationship Jenn had with the pesky blonde. He was annoyed that he found nothing. Shit I can't fight my enemy if I don't know their weaknesses. I wonder why Jenn left her here all alone. Poor thing must be a deep sleeper. He thought.

The tall man was about to go out on the balcony when out of nowhere something landed on top of him. It caught him by surprise and he lost his balance. "What the hell?" was all he could say.

They started fighting, the blonde dynamo was on him like there's no tomorrow. At first Tito wasn't aware of what was happening; in fact he couldn't believe that the petite blonde had caught him off guard. Once he knew whom his attacker was he started fighting back.

Jenn was running as fast as she could. She hated to run on sand because no matter how hard she tried it was never fast enough. Dear God, I know is not every day that I pray to you but please keep Kristen safe. I'll never forgive myself if something happens to her. The concerned accountant pleaded as she kept her sight on the villa that looked farter with every step.

The description José gave her fitted perfectly for Tito, her grandfather's hit man. Granted; Tito was also her dad's best friend, she knew him well. He was always around when she was growing up. Why he accepted Christopher's job offer after her father's death was something she'll never understand. Since then, she felt betrayed by him. She believed that he betrayed her father's memory when he started working for Christopher Heart doing what her dad's despised the most. All in all she expected the worst from this encounter. I just wish is not too late. She thought.

The tables were upside-down. The couch suffered the same luck. Kristen used her small frame to take advantage during the fight she was having trouble managing the size of her opponent but she was convinced she was winning.

Tito was on the floor trying to get rid of the little spitfire on top of him. It proved to be harder than he thought. He felt like the young blonde was everywhere at the same time.
The dark man was still wondering how Kristen knew he was inside the villa. The surprise was too much for him. I can't believe this little shit is kicking my butt. I must be getting old. He thought annoyed, just before Kristen knocked him out.

The blonde author wiped the sweat off her forehead. Damn this was a toughie. All I need now is that pair of hand cuffs I have hidden somewhere, it serves me right to be hopeful and think I was going to get lucky during this vacation. She left the intruder on the floor, the fight ended on the balcony. She surveyed the villa and took notice of how badly it looked. Shit, this looks like a twister just passed through. I wonder what Jenn would think when she gets back. The petite blonde sighed and went back inside to search for the items she needed to secure the intruder.

Jenn reached the villa covered in sweat. She found the front door unlocked. It was strange because she was sure the door was locked after leaving that morning. Once the dark haired accountant opened the door, fear took over. The furniture inside was all a mess. It looked like a battle had taken place there. The thought of Kristen being hurt tore at her heart; Jenn ran inside searching for the blonde.

" Kris!" Jenn screamed fearing the worse. She looked inside her room, not finding her friend. The accountant moved quickly to the next room colliding with the young writer who was coming to her. They fell on the floor Jenn on top.

" Sorry" Kris said loving her new position under her taller friend.

" Oh my God Kristen! Are you ok?" Jenn said her hands searching Kristen's body for any injury. The scared accountant wasn't aware of how intimate that touch was.

" I'm alright honey." Kris said as she hugged the worried woman.

They stayed on the floor holding each other. Kris was warmed by the way Jenn was reacting to all that happened. It looked like for Jenn the top priority was Kristen's well-being.

" I was so scared something happened to you." Jenn hugged the blonde harder. " I can't lose you. I don't know what that means but all I know is that I can't lose you." The accountant said with a broken voice.

" I'm not going anywhere baby I promise." Kris reassured her.

Jenn looked at her closely and very softly placed a chaste kiss on the author's lips.

" Finally! This is what I came here to see." Tito's voice rumbled surprising the couple.
